·         Conducts 10 and 30 Hour OSHA Construction classes for Laughlin-Thyssen and Sub-contractor’s employees working on Laughlin-Thyssen’s projects at the City of Austin  WTP4. This along with continuous onsite safety audits has resulted in over 148,000+ Hours with No Lost Time Incidents.

·         Composes Job Hazard Analysis for all trades and phases of construction at Laughlin-Thyssen’s five projects in the WTP4 scope. Enforces these with education and training of all site employees.  This includes; Site Prep, Excavation, Waste Water Pipe Placement, Mechanical, Masonry, Steel Erection, and All Phases of Concrete Placement from Form Building, Rebar installation for foundations, columns, walls and roof to Concrete placement using concrete buckets, cranes, heavy equipment and pump trucks.

·         Enforces 100% tie off requirement for all employees working over six feet including trade employees working with rebar, steel erection, form builders, masonry, deep excavations, concrete placers and finishers.

·         Responsibilities also include up-dating the Hazard Awareness program, conducting weekly and as needed safety refresher meetings and the purchase and distribution all safety supplies.

October 2009 to January 2010 Mid Cities Erectors, UT Campus, Austin, TX

·         Site Safety Supervisor, responsible for overall safety for multi-story structural steel erection on the University of TX Austin campus.
